Matsuda M1 – Mottainai Series – No.143A

Do you like Comedy? Misunderstanding and miscommunication create some new situations, new things, and new directions that make you laugh. Misunderstanding is not always a bad thing, it can be a source of creation. Here is Matsuda M1 “Mottainai” series. I deliberately misunderstood some traditional ways of guitar making here.

I wonder why we need to make tops with book matched single species of wood. why the sides and backs are also another single species of wood? it is going to be a question about authenticity of tradition. 

So, instead of choosing and selecting just one single species, why not mix using divers species of wood. I think that diversity make culture richer. Why not in guitars?
